2.8ghz P4 (Prescott) 512MB RAM PC3200 Windows XP SP2 ATI Radeon X300 (research update in a few month) 140GB HD Antek 500W Basiq PS Okey Dokey. Firstly, I am a hardcore gamer with 2 parents reluctant and a tight budget. I know that many computers and these too. With my current setup, I can play Halo at 1024×768 quite well and NR2003 (Nascar Racing 2003) to around 30fps in a package car 43 med settings. I am thinking to buy Counter Strike Source. But with this setup, I can REALLY run this at a playable rate with my current setup? Too, I was thinking of adding 1 GB of RAM. Will that help until I can get a new ATI card?-Matt
Challenge you to play counter-strike source, I was able to get 20 frames per second on the school computers Elementry who were running for half of what your running now, and it was the video card Intel; These things suck too. I suggest upgrading your RAM to reducload times, and stuttering in your party. Upgrading your video card will help contingencies wellll even a cheap ATI X1300 would majorly increase your fps
