NASCAR in Gran Turismo 5?
I looked online and can find no evidence that Gran Turismo will have a "season" or "series" for NASCAR vehicles. Is there any information out there that would have the support of GT5 NASCAR seasons, times and lot? I'm really looking a video game that allows you to Nascar Racing as drivers, have a 2 digit mode "owner". I wish GT5 had them, but I'm not sure. Any new information would be great! Thank you guys!
I guarantee you will GT5 not what you are looking for. Nobody knows exactly what the way the season will be like, if necessary, because the developers of Gran Turismo 5 never let such details get leaked. However, there are some things we know that can help prove that GT5 will not be what you want. For one thing, GT has always been, but no race track and try to get the time fastest lap. It has never been some kind of "mode owner" or something like that where you are given specific objectives (Other than driving missions in GT4). Its all about race to win all the trophies and gold have I guess all the cars in the game. Second thing is the number of tracks. There are about 20 pieces or in the NASCAR schedule. Well, GT5 will be only about 20 or as separate pieces (the 20 tracks make up a total of 60 different possible configurations), so this theory is blind. GT5 is not likely to fill the game with several that are oval set of 1.5 miles in length for the love of NASCAR. My theory is that they allow you to race cars of NASCAR may be on the tracks and that would be your 5-6 good season there (if they add one, that is). Some NASCAR tracks available for such a schedule is already confirmed to be in the game since they were in the other GT games. This includes Daytona, Infineon, Indianapolis and Suzuka (they used to run there). Possibilities include Watkins Glen (the way a Formula One use it to run less), an irregularly shaped oval as perhaps Pocono or Phoenix (as it is another type of oval), possibly a 1.5 mile track (PD crew visited one of the races in Texas, while it is a possibility) and that it would probably be the right season there. The main idea behind putting NASCAR in the game is to let the player realistic driving experience several race cars and road vehicles on racetracks technique (not oval tracks), not so much the completion of a campaign. I think you need to return to one of the ancient Games EA Sports NASCAR for "owner mode" of some sort.
