In the bedroom of her son, how do the colors?

Now that I've decided to share my room with my toddler son, how do I do the colors. The room walls are a shade of blue. His bed is blue race car bed. My favorite color is pink, but I do try to stick to blue to make things match or use a completely different color or something?
