Can I put a harness racing in my car with stock seats?
I have a mustang 2001 and I was just wandering, I can put a harness racing or the seat belt, whatever it is, in my car seat oem stock?
In fact, the correct answer for anyone not wishing to install a roll cage in their car is to install the harness racing with a harness bar. This will provide a horizontal beam mount point at the shoulders using the stock seat belt mounting points as anchor points. Safe, easy to install, and relatively inexpensive. Something else to consider when installing a harness, the that once you're in the seat belt in place, you will not adjust the sound setting and climate, unless you have a retractable harness.
